NZGCA Performance card
The NZGCA performance card (PC) is used to record ridden wins so that there is a clear record of a horse’s novice or open status. A novice horse is one that has not had more than 6 wins in a novice or open ridden class. Competing in the novice ring as an open horse is unfair on competitors with novice horses and should not happen. An open horse is able to be shown in a double bridle. Having an accurate record of wins is important.
Please note:
-
The PC must only be printed once (DO NOT REPRINT).
-
The PC must be carried for all Gypsy Cob ridden classes (no card, no entry to the ring, no exceptions)
-
The PC must be sighted by the steward at the start of the ridden section
-
PCs must be signed for all conformation wins, open and novice
-
It is your responsibility to ensure your card is kept safe (suggestion – keep it in a plastic folder/bag in your float/number holder)
-
If you lose a PC, you must contact registrar@nzgca.co.nz to have the card replaced with the previous wins recorded. DO NOT REPRINT YOURSELF.
-
At the completion of the season (May at the latest) or after each show, you must upload or send a photo of your card to registrar@nzgca.co.nz so that the seasons wins are recorded in the NZGCA database. If your wins/card have not been sent by the end of the season, you will not be able to compete in ridden classes the following season.
